Blessed, Holy, Father God,
Thank You for rest. Some sleep. A dream. And a song. ♪Yes, I am/will/did(?) ♪
Will it is! ♪… lift You high in the lowest valley… bless Your name… sing for joy when my heart is heavy… For all my days, Yes I Will♪
Father, thank You. I am grateful for music in my heart. Soul. Mind. Even strength (Mark 12:30-31). It helps me smile. Sing. Stand firm. And stay my mind on You. Your Truth. Your promises.
All this works together for the good (Romans 8:28) of reminding me what and who and why I am in You. So loved (John 3:16). Yours (2 Corinthians 6:18). To love You, others and myself (Mark 12:30-31).

Father, thank You that every single day You provide us opportunities to grow and trust in You. Opportunities to learn. And share.
Teach me to use these opportunities well Dear Lord. Especially the one You have been showing me recently. The opportunity and importance of learning to listen.
I first became aware of it months ago when I remembered with such deep regret how many opportunities I missed in not listening to my very dear husband. Tearfully I confess to You again my unwillingness in this regard.
Was I unwilling? Or unable? You know the answer to that. All the regret in the world won’t change the past. Moving forward I am asking (Matthew 7:7a) that You will make me a better listener.
“Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry” (James 1:19). I want to learn from You Blessed Lord.
Thank You that You ARE “the LORD your God, who teaches you what is good for you and leads you along the paths you should follow. Oh, that you had listened to my commands! Then you would have had peace flowing like a gentle river and…” (Isaiah 48:17b-19).

Thank You Father. For the opportunities to sing, smile, stand and stay knowing, believing, trusting You to be the ♪Good, Good Father♪ You are.
I love, need, trust and want You Lord. Use me as You alone know is best. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
