being still and waiting

 ♪Hell lost another one

I am free, I am free…

Get up, Get up, Get up

Get up out of that grave♪

I thought I was awake enough, Lord. You know? Rested and inspired. Maybe I’m not. Let’s try this again.

(5:37 a.m.)

Back to bed. Another attempt at sleep. Outside. Fresh air. Coffee drink. What say You Lord?

(5:57 a.m.)

“Be still… and wait” (Psalm 37:7a).

Thank You Father. Yes. Thank You. ♪Peace Be Still♪ started singing as soon as I queried peace being found in stillness.

(6:18 a.m.)

Thank You for singing to me Lord. So many songs. In so many ways. All joining together to point me deeper into Your Word. Teaching me the importance of truly taking delight in You (Psalm 37:4a).

It absolutely is in You that our love, strength and hope are found. ♪My Life Is In You Lord♪ 100%

Thank You for the complete desire to be here with You. Marveling at the beauty of the sky just outside our windows. Paying close attention to the sounds of various birds. Completely awed by the changes You make possible in Your people.

Father, as scattered as my thoughts appear this morning, they are all being held together by Your promises. And the truth of Your Word.

I ask (Matthew 7:7a) You to lead and guide me Lord. Direct my path as Psalm 37:3 and Proverbs 3:5-6 say You will.

Teach me how to truly ‘Commit everything I do to You Dear Lord. Trusting You to help me.’ I love, need, thank and praise You. Do all You must in using me as You know is best. Thank You God. Amen.
