♪When I Need Love
I just close my eyes
And I feel love♪

Holy God,
Thank You. So many unexpected blessings. Walks in the water. Sitting at the lakeside.
(7:07 a.m.)
Lakeside. Mm. Yes. Lakeside.
Thank You for reminding me of the shape similarities between this lake here [Tahoe] that has held my heart since 1976 and the one on which You walked and taught and calmed a storm [the Sea of Galilee].
Thank You for the opportunity of going out in the 46° clear, fresh air to sit lakeside. Waiting for the sun to crest the mountain. Contemplating regrets of the past. And from whence they stemmed. Fear!
All the missed opportunities and disappointments I have incurred can easily be traced back to me being afraid. Of this. That. And something else entirely.
Thank You for the countless times that You remind me that I don’t want to be afraid. We are told repeatedly in Your Word to “fear not.” To “Be strong and of good courage.”
Continue Your work in teaching me to be “dressed in strength and dignity” (Proverbs 31:25a). And to “laugh without fear of the future” (25b).
(8:00 a.m.)
I woke singing of Your love. I want to continue incorporating it into this day You have provided us.
Use me as You know is absolutely best. I love, need, trust and want You Dear Lord. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
