Thank You Blessed Father. Thank You for blessings. And challenges. Ups. Downs. Seeking. Finding.

Ins. Outs. Teetering all the way.

A break in the rain. Gentle breeze. Just enough warmth and protection from the elements. And now I’m singing.
A song from the late eighties. ♪You Got It (The Right Stuff)♪
Indeed! You’ve got all the right stuff we need Dear Lord.
Yes! The apostle Paul wrote to the believers at Colosse to show them that Christ is the only real source of power in our lives.
I have the privilege of sitting here watching and listening to how the morning is waking up. Beauty in the sky every direction I look. Thank You Father. Praise You Lord.
A comment for Colossians 2:9-10 in The Life Recovery Bible tells us that our attempts of changing ourselves through our own efforts will always be incomplete. We need the person and power of Jesus “to restore us to sanity and help us overcome our destructive patterns from the past.”
You’ve been showing me recently how much of my past has been spent being afraid and not trusting. Father God, I want to trust and believe the power of the Truth Paul wrote about.
“For in Christ the fullness of God lives in a human body, and you are complete through your union with Christ. He is the Lord over every ruler and authority in the universe” (Colossians 2:9-10).
The Passion Translation says it this way, “For He [Christ] is the complete fullness of deity living in human form. And our own completeness is now found in Him. We are completely with God as Christ’s fullness overflows within us. He is the Head [Or “Source.”] of every kingdom and authority in the universe!”
Seems like just enough to me!
♪I don't want to be afraid
Every time I face the waves
I don’t want to be afraid…
I don’t want to fear the storm
Just because I hear it roar
Peace Be Still
Say the word and I will
Set my feet upon the sea
Till I’m dancing in the deep…
I’’m not gonna be afraid
‘Cause these waves are only waves
Oh, I’m not gonna be afraid…
I’m not gonna fear the storm
You are greater than its roar…
Peace be still
You are here so it is well
Even when my eyes can’t see
I will trust the voice that speaks
Peace, peace over me♪
There’s an added refrain with which I am unfamiliar. It calls peace to my heart. My emotions. My fears. Allowing them to drown in the ocean.
Yes please. I want to serve You fearlessly. Do all You must to Your good and glorious end. I love, need, trust and want You. Use me exactly as You know is best. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
