Blessed God,

Thank You. I love waking up to the singing of Your Truth within me.

♪Don’t gotta be somebody when I’m already Somebody To You Got nothing to prove anymore, there’s nothing to lose anymore You’re gonna keep on loving me for more than just the things that I do♪

Thank You for the time to sit with You. Looking, listening, learning more about Your loving care of and for each of us.

Thank You Father. For the introduction to new to me believers [Richard Rohr, John Eldredge] who are willing to share Your Truth freely with others.

Thank You for the unchanging Truth and power of Your Holy Word. Found especially this morning in The Message. Teaching me to be exactly who I am in You!

“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me - watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly” (Matthew 11:28-30).

“So be content with who you are, and don’t put on airs. God’s strong hand is on you; He’ll promote you at the right time. Live carefree before God; He is most careful with you” (1 Peter 5:6-7). Yes!
