Most Dear and Blessed Holy Father God,

What an incredible opportunity! Driving the streets of New York City ~ WHAT?! Are You kidding me?

YOU did this! ALL of it! Start to finish. From the original idea of making this trip, to its actually happening. I am here in this exact place because of You. 

Once a girl practically afraid of her own shadow You’ve been building and instilling in me the ability to ask for help. To seek kindness. And to knock until someone answers YOUR call (Matthew 7:7).

Father, I truly have more JOY, appreciation, hopeful optimism than I have words right now. Trusting, leaning and depending on You have afforded me this current trip of my lifetime. Flying east to meet my hero/mentor has NOT disappointed.

Asking (there’s that word again) complete strangers for help when needed. Turning and looking to You in every circumstance - whether it be in need or abundance is such an incredible opportunity.

Getting trapped in the circle of Newark’s airport parking lot, finding its cellphone lots and taking the time to ASK (again this word!) You for the guidance necessary. Driving myself through the Holland Tunnel. Beside the Hudson River. Passed the Bronx and New Rochelle. All the way to extremely generous Airbnb hosts who allowed for a very early check-in.
