Thank You. Thank You. Thank You God,

I did NOT get the sleep I was hoping for.

(6:39 a.m.)

Yet here I am. Grateful. And smiling.

It stems from the singing. I had to search. And then search some more. Definitely worth the find. Thank You Lord.

♪I’ve never known a love like Yours…♪

I heard it the other day in the car. I had the same thought just now as I did then. I’ve had a TASTE of it! Thank You very much.

If my very dear earthly husband could treat me with the love and respect that he did, what must it be like to be loved and accepted by the Creator of the universe?

♪So intimate, so powerful

I’ve tasted I’ve seen

And nothing comes close♪

This is where I marvel. If nothing truly comes close, what must being loved by You be like?

♪Jesus Your name is power

It’s breath and living water

And Your Spirit guides me

To the Heart of the Father

You bless us Lord. In so many ways. Often unnoticed. Or unrecognized.

♪I’ve never felt at home like this

Just like a child so innocent

And I’m safe inside Your arms

Cause You won’t let go♪

As I sing the words I continue likening it to what I have known. Again, that taste! Not the whole meal. Just a taste of something far beyond our comprehension.

We sing praise♪

Yes Father! We sing praise!

“My heart is confident in You, O God; no wonder I can sing Your praises with all my heart! Wake up, lyre and harp! I will wake the dawn with my song. I will thank You, LORD among all the people, I will sing Your praises among the nations. For Your unfailing love is higher than the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds. Be exalted, O God, above the highest heavens. May Your glory shine over all the earth” (Psalm 108:1-5).

Thank You for this opportunity to truly sing praise for the hope and joy that are found in knowing and being loved by You. Thank You Father.

Use me as You know is best. Doing all You must. In, with, by, through and for me. I love, need, trust and want You Blessed God.
