Holy God,
Thank You. I am choosing delight at this very moment. Birds are singing. And I am smiling.
There are so many things I don’t understand. How does time seem to be whizzing by so quickly these days? Why is the computer battery do longer charging? What would You have me do with all You have provided me?
Glorify and enjoy You.

Micah 6:8. New Century Version. “The LORD has told you, human, what is good; He has told you what He wants from you: to do what is right to other people, love being kind to others, and live humbly, obeying your God.”
Yes please Lord. I want to do what You would have me do.

Psalm 90:14
Lord, You never cease to amaze me. I open my heart and You pour in Your Truth. Thank You!
In wanting to know more about delighting in You (Psalm 37:4a) I am directed to Psalm 90:14. “Satisfy us each morning with Your unfailing love, so we may sing for joy to the end of our lives.” Seems like delight to me!
Wanting to start each day in, with, by, through and for You I turn again to Psalm 18:1. Declaring my love to You. Calling You “GOD.” Or “LORD!” As well as “my strength.” Or “my defender.”
I cling to the simplicity of EasyEnglish Bible. “I love You, LORD. You make me strong.” I depend on this dear Lord.
The Living Bible says it in much more detail. “Lord, how I love You! For You have done such tremendous things for me.” Yes! You have.
“… my source of strength” (New English Translation). “You give me strength” (New International Reader’s Version).
Reading even further is The Voice. “I love You, Eternal One, source of my power.” Father thank You for putting my focus firmly on wanting to know and love You better.
♪It’s been a couple years, I’ve been on my own
Now I know that I’m not alone
You’ve given me a reason to carry on…
Yeah, everything is different nowadays
I lost a few things along the way
I had to learn to trust it’ll be okay…
Every moment I was sure I wouldn’t make it through
I was safe because of You
I don’t know how, but you take all my pain
And You turn it into Something Better♪
Thank You. Thank You God. You ARE my “Something Better”!
Which takes me right back to The Life Recovery Bible comment for Psalm 90:13-17. “Our restoration to wholeness and health depends on our cooperation with God. Only He can give us the power to be what we ought to be. But God won’t force changes on us; we must want to change… We can ask God to make us willing to change and to give us the strength to follow through with action.”
Yes Father. Make me ready, willing and able to make the changes You have for me. Do all You must in using me as You know is best.
I love, need, trust and want You. Lord of my life, I delight in You. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
