Day 2 at sea to Hilo, HI
Blessed, Holy Father God,
♪Africa… I bless the rains down in Africa… ♪
Thank You. Thank You. Thank You.
You provided. You prepared. You protected me. In the midst of unsettled malcontent yesterday You held me completely together. Decisions, disruptions and delays all worked out perfectly in the end. Thank You!
Yes! Thank You that right in the middle of our time together yesterday I knew I could sit no more. Needing to move and no longer “Be still” I was keen in knowing You were God.
Reluctantly following Your call to unlock, unstrap and re-open the crammed and jammed full bags I had successfully packed just hours before, I affirmed there was nothing I wanted to take out and leave behind.
Thank You for my obedience to walk and talk with You regarding the imbalance of weight in those two overstuffed bags. Thank You that right in the middle of my feelings of despair truck driver speak from my past came to mind.
If I couldn’t lighten the load, I could most certainly redistribute it! Thank You Father!
I confess to having brought WAY too much. Our stateroom is much smaller than I had anticipated. Our departure time from our house and the port were both delayed. And I am grateful! Deeply, profoundly grateful.
Teach me more about the fine art of redistribution Lord. I love, need, trust and want You. Use me exactly as You know is best. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
