Father God,
Thank You for this opportunity to come back here with You.
While rereading past prayers before posting them my heart is strengthened by Your Truth. Your goodness. Your grace. Your promises. The hope we have in You.
Continuing with Psalm 90 from several days ago, I’m smiling. And hope filled. Even with an idea of attending an in person church service next Sunday. That’s YOU at work Dear Lord!
“O LORD, come back to us! How long will You delay? Take pity on Your servants! Satisfy us each morning with Your unfailing love, so we may sing for joy to the end of our lives. Give us gladness in proportion to our former misery! Replace the evil years with good. Let us, Your servants, see You work again; let our children see Your glory. And may the Lord our God show us His approval and make our efforts successful. Yes, make our efforts successful!”
The Life Recovery Bible, “90:13-17 Our restoration to wholeness and health depends on our cooperation with God. Only He can give us the power to be what we ought to be. But God won’t force changes on us; we must want to change. We must begin through prayer and Bible study. We can ask God to make us willing to change and to give us the strength to follow through with action.”
Yes please Father! I want very much to cooperate with You. I want to be what You know You have for me to be. I want to change. Study Your Word. I am asking (Matthew 7:7a) You to continue Your work in making me ready, willing and able to make the changes You know are necessary. Give me the strength of Your mighty power (Ephesians 6:10) to follow through with the actions You would have me take.
I love, need, trust and want You Blessed God. Change me. Use me. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
