mirth and merriment

 ♪It’s that time of year…♪

(The Christmas Waltz)

Saturday, December 20, 2025  (5:05 a.m.)

Thank You Father.

I like when I wake up singing. And praising You. With huge degrees of mirth and merriment.

Those are definitely two words I don’t use everyday. Mirth. Merriment. Made even more complete by the smiles I continue noticing. Thank You Lord.

(5:58 a.m.)

This is all Your doing Dear Lord. You continue Your work in, with, by, through and for me. I catch glimpses of it everyday. Thank You Father.

Thank You for the hope, peace and joy You have brought into my being this Advent season. In ways I’d not experienced before.

A willingness to look at things differently. To be still and wait (Psalm 37:7). Take some risks. Weigh my choices. Say “yes” or “no” as is fitting to the occasion. You are making me aware of these much needed changes taking place.

(7:45 a.m.)

Father, I come before You. Asking (Matthew 7:7a) that You continue Your fine, good work (Ephesians 2:10; Philippians 1:6). Melt me. Mold me. Fill me. Use me as only You know is best.

I love, need, trust and want You as absolute Lord of my life. Do all You must that I glorify and enjoy You. Mirthfully and merrily. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
