Love.

 Sunday, December 21, 2025 (4:31 a.m.)

Most Holy God and Father,

Thank You! There was sleep. And dreams. Rest. And reading. Smiles of hope. And peace. And joy.

And this morning? The fourth week of Advent. Love.

(5:02 a.m.)

Thank You for this opportunity to sit and read more about love. Your love toward the world. Ours toward You. One another. And ourselves.

Talk about having a lot to unpack! There is so very much Your Word has to say about how it is You would have us love. I’m going to need a whole lot more practice!

Father, I’m asking (Matthew 7:7a) You to teach me. I have the tendency of becoming frustrated in difficult things. And then quitting.

Your Word says much about persevering. Never giving up. 1 Corinthians 13:7 and Galatians 6:9 especially.

I want to learn to love like that. This seems like the perfect week to start. Lead the way dear Lord. Do all You must that I follow You closely. Learning to love as You would have me. Wholeheartedly. Mindfully. Willingly.

I love, need, trust and want You Dear Lord. Use me as You know is best. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
