Dearest Lord,
There is a TON of emotion going on here this morning. Literal hours of thoughts. Wonders. Fears. Tears. A smile or two. And even a few laughs.
Let’s go with the laughs please. Yes. More laughter please.
(6:08 a.m.)
Thank You Holy God. All this time and many things read about the spiritual benefits of laughter has me smiling wide. And breathing deep. Thank You for Your teachings. And Your promises.
Thank You for filling me with the peace that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7). I depend on Your Word being Truth.
Teach me Lord to stand firmly while “clothed with strength and dignity” (Proverbs 31:25a). Laughing “without fear of the future” (25b).
Laughing. Yes! Looking forward to the future with joy. Smiling. Rejoicing. Being full of joy about the days to come. Looking to the future with confidence. Cheerfully. Not afraid. Strong. Respected. Graceful. Secure. Fully prepared.
Why? Because of You. Your Spirit. Your Son. Your Truth. Your promises.
Thank You that joy truly does come in the morning (Psalm 30:5d). Along with Your faithfulness. And mercies (Lamentations 3:23).
You bless us. You keep us (Numbers 6:24). How I ask (Matthew 7:7) You to continue providing every thing You know we need in order to glorify and enjoy You forever.
Thank You for Your love. And Your provision. Use me as You know is best. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
