a truly glorious day

Good very early morning Lord.

VERY early morning. Much earlier than I would have preferred. Yet here I am thanking You all the same.

Yes Father. Thank You for the glorious morning You provided us yesterday. Which then led straight into being a truly glorious day. Thank You Father for the beauty You bring into our lives.

After having initially gone out and smiled at all You supply, I came back in and explored the lyrics to ♪A Beautiful Morning♪ Blessed Father, how grateful I am when my feelings line up with Your provision.

There is so much joy to be found. In the simplest things. Successes with time management for one. And the sheer delight of a two year old. Ecstatic over chalk. And his own ability to safely explore his limitations in the swimming pool.

Thank You for the beauty that a clear blue sky offers. An unusual amount of birds, each actually ♪singing his own song♪ Taking into account our ♪chance to wake up and plan another brand new day♪ reminded me once again of the grace You continually offer us. Thank You Lord.

Taking time to read and explore what You have for and want from us, I find myself again at Micah 6:8. The Message presents it pretty perfectly.

“But He’s already made it plain how to live, what to do, what GOD is looking for in men and women. It’s quite simple: Do what is fair and just to your neighbor, be compassionate and loyal in your love, And don’t take yourself too seriously - take God seriously.”

EasyEnglish Bible makes it even more clear. “…be fair to other people… want to be kind… be careful to do what I show you.”

Yes! Father, enable me in following Your best for me. I love, need, trust and want You to use me according to Your will and to Your way. Do all You must that I will truly represent You well. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
