Thank You God.
It took awhile. A LOT of “Good morning”s. Then finally a “Thank You God.” A smile. And a song.
Lord, I love the way You work. Mm. yes. Your very own way. Not to be duplicated. Nor broken down into formulaic performance.
How I thank You for all the mistakes I’ve made through the years. Every single one of them helping me see my need of You more clearly.
Thank You that it is never up to us to have all the answers to any one thing. “No, He has told you what He wants, and this is all it is: to be fair, just, merciful, and to walk humbly with your God” (Micah 6:8 The Living Bible).
Lord God, thank You for the ways Your Word truly comes alive for us. “For the Word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires” (Hebrews 4:12 New Living Translation).
You provide blessing upon blessing. Teach me all You must that I will learn to use them well. For our good and Your glory (Romans 8:28).
(5:52 a.m.)
Song after song. One Scripture. Then another. Father, thank You that Your thoughts are nothing like mine (Isaiah 55:8a). And Your ways are beyond anything I could imagine (v. 8b).
Thank You that I can ♪Let My Words Be Few♪ All the while trusting and depending that You truly are “up to something.”
Use me Lord. As only You know is best. Taking one unknown step after another. Truly following Your lead.
♪I’m praying, God come
And turn this thing around
God, Turn It Around…
I’m calling on the name
That changes everything….
All of my hope
Is in the name
The name of Jesus
Breakthrough will come
Come in the name
The name of Jesus…
…God, turn it around
He is up to something
He is up to something
God is doing something right now…
He is healing someone
He is saving someone
God is doing something right now…♪
Oh yes Blessed Father. Move the mountains. Make the way. Do all You must in turning hearts to You. Right now.
I love, need, trust and want You Lord. Turn it all around. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
