regret-> repent-> redeem

 Saturday, January 3, 2026 (4:13 a.m.)

Good morning Lord,

(4:24 a.m.)

Thank You!

I woke again singing the theme song of my past few days. Freddy Fender’s ♪Wasted Days and Wasted Nights

Father, thank You for the reminder of just how badly bitter and hurt feelings from the past can taint us in the present. And when we’re not careful, long into the future.

Lord God, thank You that Your way [paved with Your mercy, grace, forgiveness and love] is so much better. Mm yes! Now I’m singing Forrest Frank’s ♪Your Way’s Better

(5:28 a.m.)

Thank You for the opportunity of tracking down my own words to You from seven years ago. Posted prayers reminding me of Your faithfulness. Your love. Your will. Your way.

Father, forgive me for the amount of time I seemingly waste, ruminating on things I cannot possibly change. Thank You for reminding me of the importance of repentance (Revelation 3:19), following the regret which ultimately leads to redemption (Ephesians 1:7).

Thank You that Your way is definitely better than mine! Continue Your work in me. Melting, molding, filling and using me as only You know is best.

I love, need, trust and want You.

(6:32 a.m.)

Thank You for time to read Biblical stories of changed hearts. Forgiveness. And hope. In, with, by, through and for You. Use the Truth and promises of Your Word to continue healing and redeeming my past mistakes (Romans 8:28). Thank You Father. Praise You. Amen.
