goodness, grace, guidance

♪We can’t always get what we want

But… sometimes… we get

what we need!♪

Thank You Blessed Father!

It’s been quite awhile since I’ve come to You this excited. Maybe it has to do with the three church services I watched yesterday.

Or perhaps, quite probably, it’s directly related to Your goodness, grace and guidance! Thank You for Your overwhelming patience with us Lord.

Thank You that You know the plans You have for us. Plans for good and not for evil. Plans to give us a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

Very often Your plans for us don’t resemble what we want for ourselves. Thank You that we get to choose to trust You to know what You are doing.

Yesterday I was blessed to watch a message that showed the power a prayer of confession has over guilt. Shame. Condemnation. And fear.

Having dealt with those very feelings just days earlier I am still comforted by the visual showing the relentless finger pointing brought on by guilt. An ever hovering cloak of shame. The hammering fist of feeling condemned. And the snarling face of fear.

It is FAITH in You and the blood of Your precious Son that counteracts satan’s lies. While he is a liar, Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life (John 14:6).

Do all You must in teaching us to live each moment as though we truly believe in Your goodness. Your grace. And Your guidance.

Get Closer to Me♪

Father, I love, need, trust and want You. Use me as You know is best. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
