Holy God,

Have I slept enough? It doesn’t feel like it. Let me pray with You instead.

You helped me stay productive yesterday. Focused. On task. That was ALL You. Thank You very much.

My desire for more sleep proved to be fruitless. Oh! But just look at this sunrise!! What a thing of beauty!!! Absolutely gorgeous Father!

Wispy clouds. Muted purples. Fiery oranges. Soft pinks. All this, with a fluorescent outline of the mountains to boot.

You are good, God! Great. Glorious. Gracious (Psalm 145:5-8). And I am grateful. Wonderfully, powerfully grateful.

Yes! And with that, it’s time to move on to the next things on the preparation list for the day. Father, I ask (Matthew 7:7) You to go before, behind, beside, beneath, above and within me today.

Leading, guiding and directing me in how it is that I would best glorify and enJOY You. I love, need, trust and want You. Use me as You know is best. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
