Holy God,
Thank You. There was sleep. And rest. Reading. A bit of singing. And hope.
Thirty year old photos. Memories. Another pang of sadness. Some critical self judgments. And now? Seeking. Your Kingdom.
♪Seek Ye First…♪

MUCH time spent searching how best to seek You. Looking for the “Aha! This is how we do it.”
Thank You that it came much gentler. Almost without a notice. You reminded me again of just how very blessed I am.
As has been my tendency of late I was once more recounting loss and disappointment. Thank You for stopping me mid-thought! Taking my focus from what I don’t have to all I do.
You provided me JOY yesterday. Forgive me for not acknowledging that straight away.
An emotion charged in-person church service with loved ones. A safe drive to celebrate another’s birthday. Light and breezy conversations with a delightfully energetic eight year old.
Blessings, Lord, that I could very easily have forgotten had You not put me back on track. Keep me thinking of all You have so faithfully provided. I want to be grateful Father. Not drifting again to what I believe I am lacking.
You are good. Glorious. Gracious. Great (Psalm 145:5-8). How well I know it. Keep me mindful of all You are and do for us.
Thank You for switching up my heart, soul, mind and strength. Do all You must in making it so I love You, others and myself (Mark 12:30-31). Focusing on all the blessings You provide.

Use me exactly as You know is best Dear Lord. Trusting You as I go.
Contemporary English Version. Lamentations 3:24. “Deep in my heart I say, ‘The LORD is all I need; I can depend on Him!’”
EasyEnglish Bible. “Every day, we can trust Him to be kind again. We know that He will do what He has promised to do. ‘He is my LORD,’ I say to myself. ‘He is the reason why I can hope for good things.’ The LORD does good things for people who wait for Him. He is kind to everyone who looks for Him” (vs. 23-25).
New Living Translation. Verse 25. “The LORD is wonderfully good to those who wait for Him and seek Him.”
That’s me Lord. Waiting for and seeking YOU! I love, need, trust and want You. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
