♪Into My Heart…

Come in today. Come in to stay.
Come into my heart, Lord Jesus♪

Thank You that we have Your Word Dear Lord. Thank You that I can wake up remembering the Truth [and power] of Psalm 18:1. “I love You, LORD. You are my strength.”
It is Your Word I want to know more. John 1:1. “In the beginning was the Word. The Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
Illustrated Bible Handbook says, “John launches us back before Creation to introduce Jesus. Jesus is ‘the Word’: God Himself, who existed before the beginning (1:1).”
A comment in The Life Recovery Bible reminds us, “The same Power that created the universe is available to create a new life from our shattered hopes.”
Father, I confess. My hopes keep getting shattered. One challenging thing after another.
Thank You that we can come to You feeling sad. Broken. Depleted. And You renew. Refresh. Restore. Regenerate. Revive. I need Your living water (John 4:10, 7:38-39).
Again I thank You for Your Word. Filled with hope. And promises.
The apostle Paul wrote his letter to the believers in Ephesus to strengthen their relationship with You. And each other. I want it to apply to myself as well.
I ask (Matthew 7:7a) You ‘from Your glorious, unlimited resources to give me mighty inner strength through Your Holy Spirit. That Christ will be more and more at home in my heart as I trust in Him. May my roots go down deep into the soil of Your marvelous love. And may I have the power to understand, as all Your people should, how wide, how long, how high and how deep Your love really is. May I experience the love of Christ, though it is so great I will never fully understand it. Then I will be filled with the fullness of life and power that comes from You’ (Ephesians 3:16-19).
I am not currently living in Your power. I continue seeing fear around every corner. The dreaded ‘what if’s and ‘what about’s keep popping up. Just like the weeds they are.
Do all You must to “Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me. Restore to me again the joy of Your salvation, and make me willing to obey You” (Psalm 51:10, 12).
I love, need, trust and want You Lord. Desperately. Use me as You alone know is best. Fill me with Your Spirit. Come into my heart Lord Jesus. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
