confetti

Holy God,

There’s an eager excitement going on inside of me. A sense of “agogness” I haven’t experienced in quite sometime.

Yesterday I thought of You turning my mistakes into confetti. Thank You God. I laughed a little at how much You must have acquired because of me!

(7:32 a.m.)

Time spent searching about confetti. Forgiveness. Of others. And myself. Also a lengthy phone call with my much loved brother. Followed by trying to find the very first song with which I so eagerly awoke.

Greater is He [confetti!] the One who is [more confetti] living inside of me

Than he who is living in the world

Father, THANK YOU that we get to bring You our tired. Our shame. Our guilt. And our pain. Thank You that You are greater than it all. All our doubts. Fears. And mistake making confetti!

I want You to use me Lord. As an example of one who walks with You. In Your light. And laughs with no fear of the future (Proverbs 31:25b). Clothe me with Your strength and dignity (v. 25a).

I continue getting glimpses of that life. The one where I am not afraid. Where I am strong and courageous (Deuteronomy 31:6; Joshua 1:6, 9). Joyful. And free.

Father, I look to You. I say I trust You. I ask (Matthew 7:7) for Your help. And then I hedge and dodge issues.

Do Your mighty and powerful work in, with, by, through and for me that I will truly come rejoicing into Your presence. Singing with thanksgiving in my heart and entering Your courts with praise (Psalm 100:4).

This IS the day You have made (Psalm 118:24a). I want very much to rejoice and be glad in it (24b).

Do all You must that I use Your marvelous workmanship that is me (Psalm 139:14b) in wonderfully complex (14a) ways. I love, need, trust and want You Lord. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
