♪This Is the Day… that the Lord hath made… we will rejoice… and be glad in it…♪
Yes please Father. I truly want to rejoice and be glad again today. You are good. Great. Glorious. Gracious (Psalm 145:5-8). Kind. Loving. Generous. You deserve all the praise. Honor. And glory.
Oh look! There’s a second verse. It mentions being sons of the living God, rejoicing and being glad in You. Yes please!

♪Father, let Your Kingdom come Father, let Your will be done On earth as in Heaven Right here in my heart… Give us this day our daily bread Forgive us… It’s Yours… All Yours… The kingdom, the power, the glory♪
Thank You for singing Your Truth to me Lord. Encouraging me repeatedly to choose joy and be glad. Every single smile reminds me that there is joy and gladness somewhere. Thank You.
Thank You for challenges that lead to laughter rather than tears. Circumstances to consider as adventures instead of catastrophes. You are the God who teaches us to rejoice and be glad. In ALL things (1 Thessalonians 5:18).
Father, thank You for the examples we have of Your faithful followers. All through the ages. People who chose to trust You, Your will and Your way.
Continue Your work in me I ask (Matthew 7:7). Teaching me to “Always be joyful. Keep on praying. No matter what happens, always be thankful…” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18a).
Common English Bible tells us “Be glad in the Lord always! Again I say, be glad!” (Philippians 4:4). Yes Lord. I want to be glad. Again. And again. And again.
Use me as You know is best. Empower and embolden me to ♪Let my little shine♪ I love, need, trust and want You Lord. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
