Holy, Holy God,
Thank You. You blessed me again yesterday.
There were tears. So many unexpected tears! Yet even those nourished my soul. Thank You.
(5:05 a.m.)
There are so many changes taking place around me. And especially within me. You’ve been working in me all these years and I am so incredibly grateful.
I believe it all to be You Dear Lord. The only One on whom I truly depend.
(5:28 a.m.)
Thank You for time to sing and search origins of songs Dear Lord.
Right here I confess to being torn between which avenue to take with You. All the various songs and lyrics that keep coming to heart and mind OR talking with You as the dear, DEAR God You are.
Coffee drink it is!
(6:02 a.m.)
And with it’s preparation? Another song.
The beauty of the sky called me out to the crisp morning air which immediately led to me singing. ♪When Morning Gilds The Skies My heart awaking cries “May Jesus Christ be praised”♪
Mm, yes, dear God. May Jesus Christ be praised indeed!
There is so very much joy to be found. Every single day. Continue Your work in teaching me to seek and find (Matthew 7:7-8) You throughout our struggles.
I confess. The prayer of my heart, and very often out of my mouth is quite simply, “Please God. Please God. Please God. Please.”
Yesterday it turned to, “Dear God. Dear God. Dear God.”
You KNOW the specifics. The fears. Frustrations. Anguished hearts and souls of Your children. Please, dear God.
There it is! “Please, dear God…” Do in, with, by, through and for each of us that which only You are able. Continue all the work that only You can do. Changing each of us from the inside out.
Enable, empower, enlighten us to the Truth of Your Holy Word. ♪Lord, I Need You, oh WE need You Every hour, we need You our one Defense, our Righteousness Oh God, how we need You♪
Each one of us is truly doing the very best we can. Without You at the center of our being every single attempt we make is wasted.
Do all You must Dear Lord. Please, dear God make us into the people You would have us be. Loving. Kind. Peaceful. Joyful (Galatians 5:22-23a). Not through our own feeble strength and wasted efforts but by the mighty power of Your Holy Spirit at work in us (Ephesians 6:10; Philippians 2:13).
♪Father, let Your Kingdom come Father, let Your will be done On earth as in Heaven Right here in my heart♪ Yes! Please, dear God…
I love You. I need, trust and want You. Do all You must that I serve (Joshua 24:14-15) and represent You well. Use me. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
