Yes I am

Holy God,

How I thank You. The night seemed longer than most. Sleep eluded me for most of it. Often I thought of You. Many times praying. Thank You God.

Thank You that when I’m feeling excited, or out of sorts, apprehensive, or even optimistic I can bring it all to You. Yes Lord, I can come to You with all of my heart, soul, mind and strength. Thank You.

Bits and pieces of music attempted forming one song after another. I never fully grasped the one that toyed with me most of last night. This morning however I started with right off with ♪Who You Say I Am♪ Following that find with ♪I’m Leaving It All Up To You♪

Thank You Father that I get to sing such a variety of songs to You. Turning often to learn what You might be saying to me in the process.

Let’s go back to ♪Who You Say I Am♪ Who do You say I am Dear Lord?

Here it is. Galatians 4:7. “Now you are no longer a slave but God’s own child. And since you are His child, everything He has belongs to you.”

Immediately ♪No Longer Slaves♪ starts singing to me. Affirming yet again ♪I’m a child of God Yes I am♪

With that Truth firmly established, perhaps a little more sleep?

Yes! There was. Thank You God.

Thank You that the more I am aware of being Your child, the broader my smile becomes. The deeper my hope. The richer my voice in song to You.

♪Who the Son sets free Oh, is free indeed I’m a child of God Yes I am In my Father’s house There’s a place for me I’m a child of God Yes I am I am chosen Not forsaken I am who You say I am You are for me Not against me I am who You say I am♪

Oh most dear and blessed God, how truly I thank You for who I am and am becoming in You. Whole. Free. Unafraid.

♪You unravel me with a melody You surround me with a song Of deliverance from my enemies ‘Till all my fears are gone I’m no longer a slave to fear I am a child of God… You split the sea So I could walk right through it You drown my fears in perfect love You rescued me And I will stand and sing I am a child of God Yes I am♪

Let that be my reply to challenges this day Lord. ♪I am a child of God Full of faith Yes, I am♪

Hmmm… full of faith. It is my true desire to live each moment of this day believing ♪I am chosen Not forsaken I am who You say I am You are for me Not against me I am who You say I am♪ Yours! Yes. I am.

Do all You must in, with, by, through and for me Lord. I love You. I long to serve You. And I thank You that I am Yours. Yes I am! Amen.
