need of healing

Hi God,

Thank You. Yes. Thank You.

Thank You for surprise visits. Thank You for like minds. Thank You for health. And healing. Let’s talk about that last one shall we?

We are a people in desperate need of healing. Emotionally, spiritually, mentally and physically. All aspects of healing Lord.

Thank You Father that we get to turn to You with all of our hearts, souls, minds and strengths (Mark 12:30). You know our every need. And You provide every necessity. Thank You Lord.

Reading in Psalm 69 I am heartened. There is so much hope to be found in David’s words. Illustrated Bible Handbook describes this chapter as “a quiet sharing of David’s personal distress and disappointments, mixed with frequent expressions of trust in God.” Oh yes Father! Thank You.

Following his example Lord, we get to recognize and confess our sins. Thank You that in turning to You for forgiveness and restoration, You rebuild our character. Hmm, thank You Father.

As I look to You for healing I am so incredibly grateful. Knowing, trusting, believing, counting on You to be the good, good Father that You are.

Use us this day Blessed Lord. As only You know is best. Building and strengthening us to Your glory and the good of others.

We love You Father. And we thank You. Amen.
