thank, praise, bless, keep ~ 2/28/24

Blessed God,

Thank You. Praise You. Bless You. Keep You.

Thank You for the privilege of searching Your Word. Reading of the benefits of knowing, trusting and loving You. The importance of giving ♪thanks with a grateful heart♪ (1 Thessalonians 5:18).

Oh! Now I’m singing. Actually obeying the first five verses of Psalm 105.

“Give thanks to the LORD and proclaim His greatness. Let the whole world know what He has done. Sing to Him; yes, sing His praises. Tell everyone about His wonderful deeds. Exult [find joy] in His holy name; rejoice, you who worship the LORD. Search for the LORD and for His strength, continually seek Him. Remember the wonders He has performed, His miracles, and the rulings He has given” (1-5).

Lord God, how truly grateful I am to You for the blessings You provide. Because of the presence of Your Holy Spirit, we are called to “singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among (y)ourselves, and making music to the Lord in (y)our hearts. And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ” (Ephesians 5:19-20).

Use us Lord. As You know is best. Thanking, praising, blessing, keeping and loving You with all of our hearts, souls, minds and strength and our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:30-31).

Thank You for who You are and all You do on our behalves. We love, need, trust and want You. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
