Holy God,
You’ve done it again!
Woken me up with a song I can cling to. Reminding me of the power of forgiveness. And once again providing me the power to forgive. Wow! Who knew? Oh yeah, You did! All along.
♪People… People who need people Are the luckiest people in the world We’re children, needing other children And yet letting our grown-up pride Hide all the need inside Acting more like children than children♪ Lord, the Truth in these verses! Thank You.
(12:46 p.m.)
All these hours later and I’m still basking in Your power of forgiveness. Someone from decades ago. Her name written in my Bible all these many years. Right next to Loving Our Enemies (Matthew 5:43).
Holy God, You are good! So incredibly good. You take the feeblest prayer. The slightest degree of willingness. “Faith the size of a mustard seed” (Matthew 17:20). And You multiple it. Thank You Lord! Praise You.
(4:21 p.m.)
Praise You indeed! You are Who reminded me almost twelve hours ago that “Hurt [adjective] people hurt [verb] people.” It was a game changer God!
I’ve known this phrase for years Father. Somehow at 4:53 this morning its truth hit home. YOUR Truth rang true!
Forgiveness. There is such power in forgiveness. Thank You Lord. Thank You for providing us Your power to forgive.
The freedom I immediately began experiencing led me to sing ♪Open my eyes, that I may see Glimpses of Truth Thou hast for me; Place in my hands the wonderful key That shall unclasp and set me free♪ Freedom! Thank You God.
The power of Your forgiveness. Freedom. I’m so grateful Lord. I love You. Use me as You know is best. Thank You. I love You. Amen.
