Blessed God,
You are so good. And we love You so much. Thank You.
You provide us smiles. Joy. Hope. Songs. Strength. Sensibilities. Mm, yes Father. You provide.
(6:51 a.m.)
Thank You that You provide us with Your presence. With You we are never alone. Not in our thoughts. Our wants. Words. Or actions. You just keep covering us. Thank You Lord.
Hebrews 13:21 speaks loudly to this. To the point that my heart is actually racing! Oh praise You Father!
Beginning in one translation and then over to another my excitement grows. Father, how can I ever express all You are and do for us?
Worldwide English (New Testament). “May God give you everything good so that you will do what He wants you to do. He will do in us, through Jesus Christ, what pleases Him. Praise Him for ever. May it be so!”
Oh yes. And yes. And yes!
Other translations say: equip you, perfect you, make you complete. Shape, supply, do in us what pleases Him. Furnish, prepare, ready. Produce, effect, provide. Give, work, fit. Strengthen and complete.
Oh Lord, ♪our Lord, How Majestic Is Your Name in all the earth. O Lord, our Lord… we praise Your name. O Lord, we magnify Your name: Prince of Peace, mighty God; O Lord God Almighty♪ (Psalm 8:9).
Father, thank You for singing to me. Thank You for leading. Guiding. Directing. Providing. The list goes on. And on…
The Passion Translation. “Now may the God who brought us peace… work perfection into every part of you giving you all that you need to fulfill your destiny. And may He express through you all that is excellent and pleasing [beautiful] to Him through your life-union with Jesus the Anointed One who is to receive all glory forever! Amen! My dear brothers and sisters, I urge you to let your spirits flow through this message of love that I’ve written to you in these few words” (Hebrews 13:20-22).
(9:33 a.m.)
Lord, You provide us courage to change. And You provide inspiration to accept what cannot be changed. Thank You.
The Life Recovery Bible’s comment for this section goes so far as telling us, “Unlike some human fathers, God the Father readily helps His children to succeed by equipping [providing for] them to do His will.”
Your will. That we would love You with all of our hearts, souls, minds and strength. And our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:30-31; 1 John 4:7-8).
Thank You Father for providing us the desire to continue with You. In You. By, through and for You. Use me this day. Exactly as You know is best.
I love You. I want You. I need You. I trust You. And I ask You all this in Jesus’ precious name. Thank You, Lord. Amen.
