Approaching Port of Los Angeles, CA
Holy God,
Thank You for another good trip. Another day. Another month. Another opportunity.
Yes Father. You provide us so many opportunities. Moments. Occasions. Sets of circumstances. Let us use them well. Not taking a single one for granted. Oh yes God. Yes.
You gift us Lord. Regularly. Abundantly. Continue Your work in teaching us to value each and every single breath. Word. Choice.
Blessed God, here comes another spectrum of color in Your early morning sky. Near red on the horizon. A shade of orange. Some yellowishness. Almost green. Definite blue. And a hint of purple as the stars fade from sight.
Just days ago I was made keenly aware of the fleetingness of some colorful sunrises. Yesterday I noticed for what seems like the very first time the vastness of shades I owed to the ocean.
This morning, with the dock and lights in the foreground, I am astounded by the length of time I have been awed by this seemingly extended period of time and color.
