truly grateful

Blessed Holy God,

Grateful. A slight smile is more than enough to remind me how truly grateful I am. “Thank You! Everything in me says ‘Thank You!’” (Psalm 138:1).

Those are David’s words according to The Message. “Angels listen as I sing my thanks. I kneel in worship facing Your holy temple and say it again: ‘Thank You!’ Thank You for Your love, thank You for Your faithfulness; Most holy is Your name, most holy is Your Word. The moment I called out, You stepped in; You made my life large with strength” (vs. 2-3).

Thank You. Two such simple words. Powerful. Important.

Thank You Father. Use me this day. As You wish. Yes, thank You! I love You. Amen.
