"Relax and Be Amused"

Blessed God ~

Thank You! You have been blessing me abundantly. I am aware of changes taking place in my heart, my soul, my mind and my strength. My thinking goes from negative to positive so much more quickly than ever before.

I am learning to be more forgiving and less fearful. This all comes from You and I am so incredibly grateful.

An exercise I am practicing this morning is saying and thinking, “Nothing will go right today. So I will relax and be amused.” So far I have smiled every time I have said or thought it.

“Relax and be amused” reminds me of “Rejoice and be glad” (Psalm 118:24b). Yes! Relax and be amused. Thank You!

“Nothing will go right today” causes me to think ofJesus’ words to His disciples. “Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows” (John 16:33b). 

Oh, but He doesn’t leave it there. He adds the comforting line, “But take heart, because I have overcome the world” (v. 33c). Yes! Take heart indeed!

Thank You Father. Praise You Jesus. Bless You Holy Spirit. Thank You for the work You are doing in changing me. From the inside out.
