re-celebrating happy

Blessed, Holy, Awesome God,

Thank You that You truly ARE blessed. Holy. Awesome. And God.

Thank You for the opportunity of re-celebrating happy yesterday. A day spent with loved ones at the self proclaimed “happiest place on earth.”

Father, THANK YOU for the playful privilege of answering an enthusiastic “Yes!” to questions and requests. Thank You for the laughter and love that bubbled forth from the endeavor.

Thank You for the willingness of choosing to truly celebrate the changes these past two years of our latest chapter have brought. Tears were freely shed. Bursts of laughter rang out. It was quite a “magical” day of re-celebrating happy. Thank You Father.

I want to bring that same freedom of fun into today. Jesus, I am asking (Matthew 7:7a) You to join me. Lead. Guide. Direct me to Your next best thing for me.

The joy I experienced yesterday was truly astounding. Because of my readiness to trust others in navigating the ins and outs of the day I was afforded the freedom found in following as others led. I want to continue that practice to a greater degree with You as my Leader.
