so much for us to learn

Blessed, Holy God,

You love us. You teach us. And there is so much for us to learn. So very much for us to learn.

Thank You Father. Thank You for Your patience. And Your presence. Right here with us. Through it all.

“This is what the LORD says - your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: ‘I am the LORD your God, who teaches you what is good for you and leads you along the paths you should follow’” (Isaiah 48:17).

Thank You too that in the very next verses You chastised Your people. “Oh that you would have listened to my commands! Then you would have had… peace… righteousness… no need for destruction…” Followed by promises of freedom from captivity and redemption.

Thank You, thank You Father.

Reading The Life Recovery Bible comment for Isaiah 48:12-17 I am encouraged. Thank You Lord.

“Amidst the uncertainties and turmoils of life, we can derive comfort from knowing who God is. He is the God of the past, who knows all of the troubles and pain we have experienced. He is the God of the future, who knows what lies ahead for us, and He can be trusted to guide us along the right path. He is the Creator, who has all power over all His creation and sovereignty over all history. We can surely trust a God this powerful to see us through to complete recovery.”

You are truly Who I want leading and teaching me. Continue Your work in making me obedient to all You know is best for us. I love, need, trust and want You Lord. Use me as You alone know is best. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
