Worship and adore You!

 Tuesday, December 1, 2020 (5:15 a.m.)

Awesome God,

Thank You. Praise You. Worship and adore You. Mm, yes Lord. Worship and adore You!

Blessed God, You are working in us in such wondrous ways. Teaching us. Changing us. Exactly where we are.

Father, we are grateful. A huge smile came just as I finished correcting the spelling right there. While the word doesn’t begin g r e a t, the Truth that You are great and I am grateful is automatic smile inducing. Thank You Lord.

(6:55 a.m.)

Holy, Holy God, how truly I thank You. The lightness that comes to my heart when I just allow You to take first place is amazing. Praise You Lord!

And will You just look at this? The Life Recovery Bible’s comment for Psalm “100:1-5 We always have reasons to rejoice: We live in God’s presence, [cue ♪Great Is Thy Faithfulness, O God, my Father; There is no shadow of turning with Thee♪ (Lamentations 3:22-23)] under His continual care, and we experience His love each day.”

Next song ♪Come, Let Us Worship and Bow Down, Let us kneel before the Lord, our God, our Maker♪ (Psalm 96:5). Holy God, how I thank and praise You for the songs that You bring to my mind and heart.

“Each time we come into His presence, our heart should be filled with gratitude and praise. God never stops showering us with love; He always keeps His promise to help us when we call on Him.”

Yes. Amen! You are constant. You never change. You continue Your work in drawing us to You.

This morning I am asking You to do all You must in, with, by, through and for me that I will heed A Call to Persevere found in Hebrews 10 (vs. 19-39). Each verse seemingly better than the last.

“And so, dear brothers and sisters, we can boldly enter heaven’s Most Holy Place because of the blood of Jesus. This is the new, life-giving way that Christ has opened up for us through the sacred curtain, by means of His death for us” (vs. 19-20).

Oh Dearest God, how I long to embrace Your Truth and promises as I learn to earnestly worship and adore You.

“And since we have a great High Priest who rules over God’s people, let us go right into the presence of God, with true hearts fully trusting Him. For our evil consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water” (21-22).

Your Truth, Dear Lord. Your promises!

“Without wavering, let us hold tightly to the hope we say we have, for God can be trusted to keep His promise. Think of ways to encourage one another to outbursts of love and good deeds” (23-24).

Can I even imagine what outbursts of love and good deeds would look like? Keep working in me and I believe I will.

I love You Father. Continue teaching me in how best to worship and adore You. Use me as only You know is Your will. And Your way. Leading. Guiding. Directing. Empowering. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
