Blessed, Holy God,
Thank You for the blessings Lord. Mm, yes. Speak with me this morning about blessings, will You?
“noun - a beneficial thing for which one is grateful; something that brings well-being; godsend [a very helpful or valuable event, person or thing]”
So here I sit. Reading (Psalm 126:3). Singing (♪To God Be The Glory♪). Basking in Your blessings Lord.
Thank You. Praise You. Bless You Father.
“Psalm 126. God’s deliverance from captivity filled His people with laughter and joy” (Illustrated Bible Handbook).
You truly have been delivering us from the captivity of hurt and bitter resentments. Bringing us again to easy laughter. Thank and praise You Lord.
“Yes, the LORD has done amazing things for us! What joy!” (Psalm 126:3).
Reading the entire Psalm, I find myself singing ♪Bringing in the sheaves, bringing in the sheaves, We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves♪ Yes Lord. You remind us to come to You. Rejoicing!
A comment for this Psalm reminds us that “As we experience God’s restoration, our tears will turn to joy and we can sing our own song of praise. Change never comes overnight, but God promises to complete the transformation in our life when the time is right” (The Life Recovery Bible).
It’s so true Lord. You restore. We rejoice. How I ask You to continue Your perfecting work in each of us.
Keep teaching us to be "magical" [merciful and grace-filled in Christ’s abounding love]. Forgiving. Ready. Willing. Able.
Yes Lord. Do all You must in making us fully Yours. Loving. Joyful. Peaceful. Patient. Kind. Good. Faithful. Gentle. And self-controlled (Galatians 5:22-23a).
You know Your best for us. Do all You must that we will truly bask in Your blessings.
We love You Lord. And oh how we thank You. Use us to Your good and to Your glory. Praise You. Amen.
