Holy God,
Thank You.
(6:44 a.m.)
I’ve been reading in Your Word about change. It’s coming. Seasonal. Transitional. And our house looks like a warehouse in the process.
Thank You Father. We’ve been through this before. Change. Different. In flux. And as I look at You in the interim I am blessed to know that through it all You remain constant. You do not change (Psalm 102:27; Hebrews 13:8; James 1:17…). Thank You Father. Thank You Jesus. Thank You Holy Spirit.
I get to read Your Word. Breathe deeply. Settle in. Hope. Trust. Rejoice. And know… that You are good (Psalm 46:10).
Of Psalm 46, Illustrated Bible Handbook says, “God is His people’s mighty fortress!” And The Life Recovery Bible? “46:7-11 God, the commander of the heavenly armies, is here among us. If we put our life in His hands, we can rest, confident that He will protect us. He knows our weaknesses and can strengthen us in the needed areas, helping us to overcome the attacks we face each day. Our enemies may be strong, but God is far more powerful than anything that might assail us.”
Yes. We get to ask, seek, knock (Matthew 7:7). Expecting You to guide and direct us through each and every season of our lives. Thank You Father. Thank You Jesus. Thank You Holy Spirit.
Work in, with, by, through and for us this day as we approach this current change. Thank You. We love You. Amen.
