Holy God,
Thank You. You are so good.
And right there I start singing ♪God Is So Good♪ Mm, yes! You are so good! Thank You Father.
(9:19 a.m.)
Mm, yes. Thank You.
I get to be with You. Whether I am sitting here. Or walking around, taking care of business outside.
When I start with thanks and praise, one door of thought and Truth opens directly to another. In this particular case, one hymn of Your “Guidance and Care” giving way to a favored worship song [♪Forever♪].
♪Give thanks to the Lord, Our God and King His love endures forever For He is good, He is above all things His love endures forever Sing praise, sing praise…♪
With each of these musical Truths singing powerfully within, I turn to Your Word and the verses associated with them. Thank You Father for the strength that comes from just sitting with You and saying, “Thank You.”
You ARE so good! And Your love does endure forever. Thank You. Praise You.
Reading again David’s Song of Praise (1 Chronicles 16:7-36) I breathe deeply. Knowingly. Believingly. Trustingly.
Father, I know You to be good. I believe You to be good. I trust You to be good. And right there, another Bible Truth comes to mind. Romans 8:28. Followed almost immediately by Jeremiah 29:11. Then, just as fast, verses 12-14.
Oh most Holy God, thank You. Praise You! Lamentations 3:23. Psalms 100:5; 107:1 and 136. Oh, Your Truth just keeps coming! Thank You Father.
Be with us this day. In, with, by, through and for us. We are going out for an adventure. Bless us. Keep us. Smile on and be gracious to us, showing us Your favor and giving Your peace (Numbers 6:24-26). Thank You Father. Praise You. We love You. Amen.
