(7:09 a.m.)
Blessed God,
Thank You. Thank You for
Your blessings to us. Thank You that some are easier to find than
others. Thank You that You are so good.
This morning I get to read
of the true wisdom which comes from You. James 3:13-18. Practical
wisdom. Wisdom that we use to “live a life of steady goodness so
that only good deeds will pour forth” (v. 13).
Most Holy God, how I thank
You for the reminder that “the wisdom that comes from heaven is
first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and
willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and good deeds. It
shows no partiality and is always sincere” (17).
Oh, Father. I truly long to
be considered one of the peacemakers who “plant seeds of peace and
reap a harvest of goodness” (18). What would that world look like!
