Holy God,
Thank You! Yes Father. Thank You for all You have to teach us. All we have to learn.
Like right now for instance. Psalm 90. The only psalm written by Moses. I had no idea. Thank You Lord.
Yes. Thank You for the many things You want us to know.
You are our home (v. 1). Through all the generations. Before everything. The mountains, earth and world. Beginning to end. You are God! (V.2)
People return to dust by Your command (3). A thousand years are like a day for You (4). You are ultimately in charge (Ephesians 1:11). Thank You that You are.
“Seventy years are given to us! Some even live to eighty. But even the best years are filled with pain and trouble; soon they disappear, and we fly away” (v. 10). “Teach us to realize the brevity of life, so that we may grow in wisdom” (12).
Yes Father. Teach us! “Satisfy us each morning with Your unfailing love, so we may sing for joy to the end of our lives” (14).
Mm. “Give us gladness in proportion to our former misery! Replace the evil years with good. Let us, your servants, see You work again; let our children see Your glory” (15-16).
Oh yes Blessed God! “And may the Lord our God show us His approval and make our efforts successful. Yes, make our efforts successful” (17).
Yes Father. Teach us to grow in Your wisdom. Making our efforts successful.
We love, need, trust and want You. Do all You must to Your ultimate good and glorious ways. Use us exactly as You alone know is best. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
