Holy God,
Thank You for Your love.
(5:25 a.m.)
Mm, what a huge Truth. Your love.
Thank You for the opportunity to consider Your love. Read of it. Truly settle in to learn more about it.
(7:43 a.m.)
Thank You Father for the ways You have of teaching us to open our hands to You. In praise. And thanksgiving. To receive. And to let go.
Yes, Lord. Teach us more about the importance of approaching You with open hands.
(11:11 a.m.)
Oh most Blessed God. So many interruptions. Distractions. And so much Truth! Father, thank You for the opportunity to read about the importance of opening our hands to You.
Reading Your Word about others who trusted You implicitly, I marvel at their faith. Their absolute trust in You. Thank You for their examples.
Drawn particularly to Colossians 3:12-15 this morning I am open-handedly and open-heartedly asking (Matthew 7:7) to receive all that You have for me to learn here.
“Since God chose you to be the holy people He loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony. And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.”
Mm, yes Lord. Make it so that I live as You would have me. I love, need, trust and want You. Thank You for Your love. Use me as You know is best. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
