glorious greatness

Blessed God,

Thank You! Mm. Yes. Thank You!

Your goodness, grace and glorious greatness are beyond description. Turning in Your Word I read again David’s Prayer of Praise (1 Chronicles 29:10-20). How grateful I am to have his examples of thanksgiving and praise.

Father, God I ask You to lead and guide us this day [that You have made {Psalm 118:24a)]. I smile every time I think about rejoicing and being glad (v. 24b). It’s because of Your work and reminders that “Now, our God, we thank You and praise Your glorious name!” (1 Chronicles 29:13).

Yes! Use us in thanking and praising You. Wholeheartedly. Pointing to the “greatness, power, glory, victory, and honor belong[ing] to You, because everything in heaven and on earth belongs to You! The kingdom belongs to You, LORD! You are the Head, the Ruler over everything” (v. 11).

Mm. Yes. Over and over we thank and praise You Lord. Loving, needing, trusting and wanting to know You as Head and Ruler over everything. Yes! That. Amen.
