“Ooh pretty!”
Those two words, describing the pink colored clouds right out our balcony door, had me up and out in no time. Thank you God!
Thank You for the odd shaped orange moon last night reflecting a bright stream of light all the way across the water right to the ship. And hours later? So many stars!
Lord, thank You for the blessing upon blessing that You continue providing us. Warm weather. Clear blue skies. Calm sea. Joy in the simple things.
Like fishing boats departing the harbor. So many at one time. Yet all in order. Decently and in order (1 Corinthians 14:40).
(8:23 a.m.)
Blessed God, thank You for this opportunity of exploring Your Word. Seeking. Finding. Reading. Learning. And ultimately applying all it is to live our days in, with, by, through and for You and Your Spirit’s power (Ephesians 5:15-20).
(9:09 a.m.)
Father, I want to glorify and enjoy You as You desire. Worshiping. Adoring. Trusting. Believing. Following. Decently. And in order.
I used the words “one good thing” yesterday. To describe actively looking for the one good thing for which to give You thanks.
(10:14 a.m.)
I find it [“one good thing”] to be such a door opening ice breaker.
(10:34 a.m.)
Much like the Psalty the Singing Songbook song I learned decades ago. ♪(Don’t You Know) It’s Time to Praise the Lord In the sanctuary of His Holy Spirit So set Your mind on Him And let your praise begin And the glory of the Lord will fill this place Praise the Lord… He lives within the praises of His people He loves to hear us call upon His name So set Your mind on Him And let your praise begin And the glory of the Lord will fill this place♪
That is exactly what finding “one good thing” does for me! It starts an avalanche of praise and gratefulness.
Father, I’m asking (Matthew 7:7) to live this day as an instrument of Your peace. Grace. Hope. Joy. Enter in and play through me I pray.
I love You. I need, trust and want You. Use me as only You know is best. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
