Blessed, Holy, Loving, Mighty, Powerful, Forgiving, Father God,
Thank You that You are! All these descriptive words. And so many more.
Holy God, thank You for the privilege of coming to You. Exactly as we are. No pretense. No attempts of being good or worthy enough to come into Your presence. You accept us. Broken. Bleeding. Filled with shame. And remorse.
You call us to “Come.” Repeatedly. Throughout Your Word of Truth and promises. Father, I can’t thank You enough for Your open invitation to come to You.
We get to ♪Come, Let Us Worship and Bow Down Let us kneel before the Lord, our God, our Maker. For He is our God and we are the people of His pasture, And the sheep of His hand, just the sheep of His hand♪ (Psalm 95:6).
Oh most dear and blessed Lord God, thank You that we have this invitation. And so many more!
You call the weary (Matthew 11:28-30). The thirsty (John 7:37-39). The weak (1 Samuel 16:7; John 14:6-14; 1 Corinthians 1:26-31).
(7:28 a.m.)
What a completely different direction I am going than my original intent! Thank You Lord. Thank You
