Thank You Lord,
I got to call on the strength of Your mighty power (Ephesians 6:10) the other day. Thank You that You were my first choice. Not worry. Fear. Or doubt. Putting one foot in front of the other. Holding on to You the whole time.
Thank You for Your Word dear Lord. Your Word of Truth and promises that teaches us to not be afraid. Because my former first instinct would have been to fret and fear I am grateful to have Your teachings to stand on instead.
Thank You Lord. Praise Your holy name!
Earlier last week I had the thought of You holding me up with Your victorious right hand (Isaiah 41:10). Likening it in the most playful way as You being the ultimate Stretch Armstrong. With absolutely no disrespect or blasphemy intended, I am comforted by knowing You will never let go. Thank you Father.
Thank You that we get to pray, “Please God. Please God. Please.” And You know exactly what our heart is asking.
Thank You that “the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for the believers in harmony with God’s own will. And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them” (Romans 8:26-28).
It is in You we trust Dearest Lord. Especially when fear could so easily overtake our thinking. Thank You for all You do in growing us in Your likeness.
Use us this day Dearest Dad. Loving You, others and ourselves with all of our hearts, souls, mind and strength (Mark 12:30-31). Glorying and enjoying You as we go.
Thank You. Praise You. Worship and adore You. Amen.
