Blessed, Holy, Loving God,
Thank You. Praise You. Worship and adore You. Father, You have given me a brand new association with the song ♪Let It Rise♪
Getting to watch the colors of this morning’s sky I was filled with praise and adoration. It was as though I was absolutely witnessing Your glory. Bright. Vivid. Deep. Shadings. Distinctions. All at one time.
The song practically sang itself. ♪Let the glory of the Lord Rise among us… Let the praises of the King Rise among us… Let the songs of the Lord Rise among us… Let the joy of the King Rise among us Let it rise♪
Oh yes, Blessed God. Let it rise!
Thank You that just as I was preparing to scour Your Word searching for verses to match the Truth of this song I found a website geared exactly for that purpose. “Word to Worship Find contemporary worship songs based on Scripture.”
Again I say, praise and thank You God! Yes.
Let me take the beauty I witnessed earlier out into the day. Singing. Smiling. Standing firm. And staying my mind on Your glory. ♪Let it rise♪
I get to read in Your Word of the importance of music. The actual duties of musicians (1 Chronicles 25). The ability of singing “the songs of the LORD while in a foreign land” (Psalm 137:4). Thank You for providing for our every need Dear God.
The book of Exodus speaks of Your provisions. “In the morning you will see the glorious presence of the LORD… And as Aaron spoke to the people, they looked out toward the desert. Within the guiding cloud, they could see the awesome glory of the LORD” (Chapter 16, verses 7 and 10).
Holy God, I honestly can’t imagine more glory than I saw this morning. At the very same time I am fully aware that this was just a precursor of the glory to come.
Use me this day as a true witness to Your glory Dear Lord. Your greatness. Your goodness. And Your grace.
I love You. I need You. I want You. And I thank You Dearest God. Do all You must to Your good and to Your glorious end. Praising, worshiping and adoring You as I go. Hallelujah! Amen.
