overcome by Your presence

 Tuesday, August 17, 2021 (6:49 a.m.)

♪Holy Spirit You are welcome here♪

That’s what I was singing at 2:38 when I wasn’t going back to sleep. Oh Lord, how grateful I am that You sing to us at the most opportune moments. Thank You Daddy God.

(7:23 a.m.)

Even now. As I’m examining one song, another Truth begins singing. ♪Jesus Is Alive♪ Holy, holy God, I cannot thank You enough!

While struggling to remember one word [glory] from the first song, sleep had to have happened. Three hours later I was also wanting to remember the last line of the chorus.

Thank You God that as I continue working with You to change my heart and my thinking, You do indeed provide music to my soul. ♪Holy Spirit You are welcome here Come flood this place and fill the atmosphere Your glory, God, is what our hearts long for To be overcome by Your presence, Lord♪

Oh yes Blessed Father! To be overcome by Your presence, Lord!

Holy God, I ask You, Your Son and the Holy Spirit to accompany me throughout this day. From beginning to end.

I remember quoting The Living Bible much earlier this morning. “Because the Lord is my Shepherd, I have everything I need!” (Psalm 23:1).

As I ponder the glorious Truth of this first verse, I continue with the chapter. Smiling as I read.

“He lets me rest in the meadow grass and leads me beside the quiet streams. He gives me new strength. He helps me do what honors Him the most. Even when walking through the dark valley of death I will not be afraid, for You are close beside me, guarding, guiding all the way. You provide delicious food for me in the presence of my enemies, You have welcomed me as Your guest; blessings overflow! Your goodness and unfailing kindness shall be with me all of my life, and afterwards I will live with You forever in Your home” (Psalm 23:2-6).

It’s Your Truth I long to live this day. Overcome by Your presence. Remembering to call satan out for the “LIAR!” that he is.

I love You Lord. Jesus IS alive! And Holy Spirit? You are absolutely welcome here. Use me as You know is best. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
