Blessed, Holy God,
There’s so much to see. So much to do. So much to love. And remember. And take with us. Thank You Father.
Thank You for the memories of another well planned trip. Thank You for the safety we experienced during our travels. The monsoonal weather we got to watch right from the comfort of a front porch and hotel room windows.
Wind. Rain. Lightning. And thunder. All the while remaining safe and dry. Thank You God.
Thank You for one more day of travel. We are so blessed to be able to come to You asking for another extension of Your care. More safety. More joy. More memories. So much more.
Turning to Your Word, I am directed straight to Hebrews 6:1-3. The Message presenting it in words I fully understand.
“So come on, let’s leave the preschool fingerpainting exercises on Christ and get on with the grand work of art. Grow up in Christ. The basic foundational truths are in place: turning your back on ‘salvation by self-help’ and turning in trust toward God; baptismal instructions; laying on of hands; resurrection of the dead; eternal judgment. God helping us, we’ll stay true to all that. But there’s so much more. Let’s get on with it!”
Oh, let’s get on with it indeed! Life in You is so much more than anything we could ever begin to imagine. You love us. You’ve got us. We don’t ever have to be alone. Or afraid. Keep me knowing and believing Your Truth.
Father, I love You. I thank You. I need and trust You. Use me this day. Exactly as You know is best. Loving, trusting, glorifying, rejoicing and so much more. So very much more.
Thank You Father. I love You. Amen.
