Most Holy God,

We are quickly approaching the end of our time of preparation for the coming [Advent] of Your Son. Thank You Father. Truly. Thank You for this season. Thank You for the hope, the faith, and the joy we have been experiencing this year.

Mm, yes Father. You have truly been working in us. Through us. With us. Thank You for the changes in us that only You could orchestrate.

Searching and reading Your Word truly brings joy to my being. Ephesians 4:23-24, Easy-to-Read Version. “You must be made new in your hearts and in your thinking. Be that new person who was made to be like God, truly good and pleasing to Him.”

You are leading us Lord. Thank You. Continue doing all You must in truly turning us into the people You would have us be.

The Life Recovery Bible (NLT) tells us “there must be a spiritual renewal of your thoughts and attitudes” (v. 23). You have been doing that. Truly.

Thank You Father. I love You. Use me exactly as You wish. Amen.
