Ah Lord God

Most Holy God,

Thank You! Thank You that while sleep was interrupted, music sang out to my soul. ♪Nothing is too difficult for Thee♪ Yes! Nothing IS too difficult for You, Dear Lord!

Thank You Father for the easy access I had in finding the lyrics to ♪Ah Lord God♪ Yes Father, thank You! I didn’t know the title, just the refrain. And up it came!

♪Ah Lord God, Thou has made the heavens And the earth by Thy great power; Ah Lord God, Thou hast made the heavens And the earth by Thine outstretched arm♪

For the first time I discover these are actual words prayed to You by Jeremiah (32:17). “Ah Lord GOD! Truly, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm, and there is nothing too hard for You” (Modern English Version).

Oh my yes! Whether it is something as minor as my own lack of sleep, compared to the violence and hatred going on in this world ♪Nothing is too difficult for Thee, Nothing is too difficult for Thee; O, great and mighty God, Great in power and mighty in deed, Nothing, nothing, absolutely nothing, Nothing is too difficult for Thee♪

Yes. Yes. Absolutely YES! Nothing is too difficult for Thee! Thank You Father. How I ask You to come into this present unrest. Bring us into Your presence, where we find Your “glory and honor; strength and gladness” (1 Chronicles 16:27).

Oh, how we love You Lord. Work in us that we would truly come to depend on You; Your great power and outstretched hand. Mm, yes!
