(7:04 a.m.)
Holy, Holy God,
Thank You. Thank You, thank
You, thank You. We woke with the sounds of two preschoolers getting
along with one another. Thank You Father. Thank You!
Yesterday started out rather
trying for us and went rapidly downhill from there. Thank You that
YOU are our good, good Father!
Thank You that in the midst
of a lot of yelling and angry, hurt feelings YOUR Word came through
loud and clear. “Be angry, and do not sin...” (Ephesians 4:26),
“...Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning” (Psalm 30:5).
Thank You for the good sense to end our
bedtime routine with prayer and the singing of ♫Jesus
Loves Me♫ Thank You for
knowing, especially in the midst of chaos, that we have choices to
make that far exceed our circumstances.
Thank You for the privilege of waking
up this morning singing ♫You're
a Good, Good Father It's who You are, it's who You are♫
Thank You for the opportunity of easily remembering where to find
these lyrics. And thank You especially for reminding me ♫And I'm loved
by You It's who I am, it's who I am♫
Bless You Father. Praise You. Thank
You. Grumpiness could begin at any moment this morning. I look to You
to guide and direct us through every potential problem. Thanks Dad.
You're a good, good Father! I love You. Amen.
